Missed Call

In the middle of a meeting my phone buzzed,
I glanced and saw the name ‘Mom’ flash.
I was discussing the weekly status with the team;
just the regular, nothing ground-breaking.
But I still cut your call, texted “I am stuck”,
and stored a reminder to call you back.
